Our annual Beer & Game dinner is one of the most loved events in Portsmouth. Each year Chef Evan creates an exceptional menu from unusual (to say the least) ingredients from around the world, and each course is paired with a local beer created just for this dinner. The brewers are at the dinner to talk about the beers. This is an event you don’t want to miss!
Brewer partnerships and Beers to be featured at this year’s dinner:
~Great Rhythm – Tripel Belgian IPA with peppercorns
~North Country and Neighborhood – Original Press Cider / Autumn Lager
~Tributary and Stoneface – Tomcat Gin barrel-aged Flemish Sour
~Earth Eagle Brewings – Erebos Black Gruit
~Throwback and Lair’s Bench (TBD)
~Chapel + Main – The Lazy One’s Vineyard Raspberry Sour
Wednesday, February 28th: Chocolate, Cheese, & Beer Pairing @ Throwback Brewery
Every year during Portsmouth Beer week, we like to play with and push the culinary possibilities of pairing hand-crafted chocolate and thoughtfully selected cheeses from local New England and NY artisans with our farm-fresh beers.
This year marks the 7th offering of this event, and we continue to be inspired by all the magical ways we can pair this delicious trio! If you are like us, and love cheese, chocolate, and beer, be sure to grab your ticket today! (As a ‘heads up’, this event has sold out for the past 6 years in a row.)
The event this year will be held on Wednesday, February 28th at 6pm here at Throwback Brewery.
Here is the menu – we think it is four courses of deliciousness!
