Feb 26 @ 6:30 pm – 9:00 pm

It’s our 9th year of chocolate, cheese, & beer! We couldn’t be more excited to share this year’s four-course dinner with you – a dinner where we shine a light on the best of New England cheeses and chocolate, all paired with our farm-fresh beers.

We’re working on the menu now, but just thought we’d mention that last year’s evening included a local cheese and charcuterie board (complete with house-made crackers and jams), fettuccine with feta and Enna chocolate, artisan cheese curd-stuffed arancini, and a goat milk ricotta pie with beer wort caramel, blue cheese, and chocolate!

And the beers! There will be six beer pairings- a few making their debut that week. Our brewers have given their blessing to share a few with you here, so if a new Pineapple Party Pants (Pina Colada-Inspired) Sour, Belgian Strong Ale, and Salted Caramel Milk Stout sound up your alley, consider making your reservation now!

Seats are $55/person (plus tax & gratuity) and are available upon reservation via email, phone, or here at the brewery. Upon making a reservation, we’ll grab your credit card, which won’t be charged until the end of the evening on 2/26/20. Our friends from Jack’s Abby, Liars Bench, Schilling, Tributary and the O.G.s at Weihenstephan are joining us to raise both their extremely heavy glasses (for as long as they can) and raise some money for a great cause.

For every liter and half-liter stein of lager sold, Book & Bar will make a donation to the National MS Society, a non-profit aiming to support those with Multiple Sclerosis and to eradicate the disease forever.

We’re whipping up some lager-appropriate snacks to fill you up and our talented brewer friends are bringing the liquid. Come set your best time in a stein-hoisting competition and grab some sweet swag, too!

This year’s offerings are:
CRANBARREL — This cider is aged in Bourbon barrels for six months then Massachusetts cranberries are introduced — which gives this off-dry cider great acidity and brightens the barrel flavor. 5.75% ABV

RYE — Aged in rye whisky barrels from Flag Hill Distillery in Lee, NH, this cider is heaven for barrel aged cider fans. It is off-dry and has huge vanilla and whisky notes that are complemented nicely by the light oak from the barrels. 6.75%ABV

OLD FORREST — This off-dry cider is aged in 7 year-old Woodford Reserve barrels. These special barrels give the cider a wonderful vanilla nose and rich color. 6% ABV

DOUBLE HAUL — This off-dry cider is aged in Flag Hill’s heavy rum barrels for four months. These incredible barrels add complex notes that play deliciously well with our cider. 5.5% ABV

BERRY BRETT — This dry and funky cider is aged in Woodford Reserve barrels with the addition of blackberries, blueberries and pomegranate, along with Brett. 8.0% ABV

UVARUM — This dry cider is wild fermented in a Flag Hill rye whisky barrel with the addition of experimental grape grown at the UNH Farm. It is then aged for two months. 6.0% ABV
