We could not be more proud to release this year’s Joint Effort on the first day of #portsmouthbeerweek. A collaboration of the seacoast’s breweries, this Munich Dunkel represents the convivial beer industry of the region we call home. A beer style meant to be consumed with friends in large rations, this year’s collaboration carries a larger meaning with it. Grab a friend (or make a new one), grab a beer and raise your glass to each other because all of this is not possible without each other.
Cheers, Prost, Salud and thank you!

Get ready to kick off Portsmouth Beer Week with two brand new sour beers sure to ‘prickle’ your fancy at our Sour Days on March 5th and 6th!
First up is Prickly Pear Party Pants (say that three times fast), a sour that we think is totally ‘on point’. Made with prickly pear, Cara Cara orange, and lemon, this fruity delight will make you want to grab life by the ‘thorns’.
Next up is our Lion’s Tale Sour Ale – a play on the cocktail of the same name. This delicious concoction is brewed with lime and allspice, and aged on bourbon oak spirals.
Try a Sampler Tray of the two new beers, plus fan favorite Cheek Squeezer Sour Ale with Cherries and our Red Party Pants Cranberry Ginger Sour and we think you’ll be all puckered up for days…Sour Days!

ROYAL IMPY STOUT – Monday, March 7th Release
The release of our Royal Impy Stout is something we look forward to every year and this year is no different. A big, bold imperial stout brewed with a complex and hefty malt base that fills our mash tun to the brim. Dark roasted malts bring forth notes of chocolate and coffee while caramel and other specialty malts lend flavors and aromas of dark fruit and caramelized sugar.
This years batch was conditioned on New Hampshire Apple Brandy and oak, giving it a smooth profile along with notes of vanilla, toffee and sweet brandy with a touch of apple pie.
We hope you’ll raise a glass with us for this much sought after annual release!
Cheers,
John Bergeron
Head Brewer
